Rocket League Oceanic Masters Format

Want to know how to get from the open qualifiers of the Gfinity Oceanic Masters to the world stage for the Rocket League Championship Series? Check out the format breakdown below.

RLOM Format Breakdown

OPEN QUALIFIERS

Starting on March 9th are the Open Qualifiers. The Open Qualifiers will be held over two (2) days giving players double the opportunity to qualify. Players may register for both qualifiers.

The Open Qualifiers will be a double elimination, best-of-three (Bo3) leading up to best-of-five (Bo5) in the preceding qualification and qualification rounds.

Three (3) teams will qualify, from each open qualifier, to League Play resulting in a total of six (6) teams proceeding from the qualification rounds.

LEAGUE PLAY

League Play will begin on April 14th  with the six (6) qualifying teams joining two (2) invited teams. League Play will be round robin, best-of-five (Bo5) and run over a five (5) week period.

At the end of League Play, the top four (4) will qualify for the Finals.

FINALS

The Finals will be broadcast on May 19th and will see the four (4) qualified teams compete in a double elimination, best-of-seven (Bo7) bracket. While competing for the lion’s share of the $50,000 USD prize pool, the top two (2) teams – the Champions of the Gfinity Rocket League Oceanic Masters and runner-up – will qualify to represent Oceania at the Rocket League Championship Series World Finals!
